Who was insulted the most by the DVD changes? You decide!

While I think the changes made were a slap in the face to Anakin, Boba Fett and that dude in Hoth, I think Sebastian had it worse. He was replaced by Hayden Christensen... and for some reason, never aged. From what I can see, his form doesn't even exist in the movies. Jeremy's case is slightly worse for him than John's is for him, because he is a little bit more important. And while John is effected the least, doesn't mean it's not an insult regardless.

i dont think anyone should be insulted. regardless of how you feel the changes effected the movie, you have to realize that sebastian and bulloch are actors and were paid to play a part. they have already gotten more out of star wars then they ever dreamed they would when they signed on.
Officer! officer! quick! all my money was stolen by a man in flannel!

I haven't watched the DVDs, and I do not plan to. They would be TOO MANY slaps in the face for me. *shakes head*

The man under the suit was meant to be deformed, twisted. I kind of picture him even having wires, tubes, and things connecting to his throat and the back of his head. I don't picture him with eyelids, either.

Clive Revill was the original Emperor in The Empire Strikes Back when Darth Vader kneels down and the big floating head appears and says to him in a calm, collected voice "There has been a great disturbance in the Force." Clive was pointlessly cut out of ESB's DVD and replaced with Ian McDiarmid.
I am the Fisher King.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

Ah, so that was the guys name. I heard that is was actually an old woman that played the ESB Emporer. Must be a rumor. Yeah, that would be pointless cutting him out. I think Clive looked just fine the way he was in the hologram.

They had every right to bring back one true Emperor-magnificent Ian McDiarmid, Lord Aquaman!
Why don`t you like this change?
Why don`t you like this change?
It was a change not needed. The only thing Lucas should have changed (fixed really) in the OT was special affects, and maybe adding deleted scenes. Changing dialgoue and actors was not needed. That said replacing the woman by Ian McDiarmid is not so much a bid deal, though I would have preffered more of his face to be covered, only his chin and mouth showing. However McDiarmids delivery of the lines are poor, and the dialouge change is what upsets the the most.

Sebastian Shaw didn't do much after ROTJ. In fact i have seen no other of his films (most of which were before).
I'm supreised that Bulloch is returning in ep.3 as Captain Colton. He did too breif appearances in james bond films, but was best known for everyones favorite chater in the SW trilogy...
As for John Ratzenberger, he has it quite good... he (like Ford) is better known for other things. did the delete him from ESB?
I'm voting bulloch, because at least Shaw isn't around to be horrified by it...
but i do feel sorry for Shaws grandkids....
"my grandfather was anikan"
"no he isn't... i've got the DVDs"
"thanks mr.lucas. you've made all our chrismases come true."
