    Regarding all the jellyfish trivia...That's so odd because for the past few days I've been doing research on these critters for an upcoming magazine feature. And I was also aware of seahorse fathers carrying the eggs in their pouches before the young hatch.

    Some octopus facts:

    Baby octopi are about the size of a flea when they are first born

    The octopus mothers lay anywhere from 20,000 to 100,000 eggs and spend so much time and energy caring for them that they usually die shortly after the babies hatch. How incredibly sad!
