What I meant was that I seemed to get about four different bands when I downloaded some of their stuff. I'm not sure which of them is actually Spiderbait. A couple of them were downright awful, but some of it was good. So I'll have to do a bit of research to determine which one was actually them.

Little bit of a power trip, Heccubus?

I wasn't being serious. I was just goofing off. I forgot that this forum was as serious as death, and that I will get banned if I fuck off.

There was no way of telling whether you were being serious or not, so how was I supposed to know? No one said things were as "serious as death". Your little stunt on the previous thread with the assinine reply just pissed me off, so I was in no frame of mind to be dealing with you acting like that on this one.

Wow.

Well first off, getting angry on the internet is about as useful as a one legged man in an ass-kicking contest.

Secondly, what I said was so ridiculous in nature that it would be hard to view it as serious, unless my arguing had to do with childish namecalling(note: it doesn't.).

In all seriousness, I find it bad form if you close a topic because your vagina starts bleeding when someone else decides to take a jab at you.

The only reason I did was to keep it from spiralling into pointless quarreling, which is precisely what's happening now.

Oh holy Music God, Dubbed Heccubus at the present moment, I beseech thee.

Eat me.

Tell me why I should not find reason to take offense to that. It was both uncalled for, and completely childish, as well as being a direct personal attack against me.

Whatever dude, It wasn't that mean. And besides, if someone who lives over 50 miles away from you is calling you names over the internet and it generally hurts, maybe you should unplug your modem for a bit, and go play a game outside.

I hear kickball is the shit these days.

Read his last post 3 hours ago, and just shook my head. I've already moved on.

Steely Dan is excellent, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I'm not fortunate enough to be very well acquainted with them, but what I've heard is pretty damn good.

I'm throwing Turbonegro, Buck 65, CKY, and Fischerspooner in. There should be something for everybody there.

Also, Neu! are pretty awesome. They were rather ahead of their time in the field of electronic/experiemental music. If you want to check them out, look up "Super 16", you may (or may not) recognize it from a certain recent Tarantino movie...

At great personal risk to my standing amongst you people, I will reveal the contents of my CD cases...the stuff I still like, at least. Most of the bands you've mentioned are unfamiliar to me, so I'm still rather clueless about how you stand, really (except for Chyld).

Also note before you judge me that I do NOT watch MTV or any other music channels, and rarely listen to the radio, so trends have little to no influence on my music preferences...except perhaps for what to avoid at all costs.

Bad Religion (six CDs)
NOFX (five CDs)
Pennywise (two CDs)
Sex Pistols (one CD)
Subhumans (one burnt CD from my brother, but probably equals out to two)
Crass (two burnt CDs from my brother)
Dead Kennedys (one CD, and I'm planning to buy more)
The Living End (four CDs)
The Offspring (four CDs, bought two or three years ago)
Reel Big Fish (one CD)
The Vines (two CDs)
Sum 41 (I like their third CD, the other two suck ass, but I like the third one. Shut up.)
Evanescence (one CD, the only one, I think)
Tenacious D (their one CD)
Nerf Herder (one burnt CD of miscellaneous songs, because their funny and catchy)

There are also the soundtracks for Pirates of the Caribbean, Sorcerer's Stone, and Prisoner of Azkaban, some random comedy CDs and various burnt stuff, too. There's also a whole list of CDs from punk bands I can't remember the names of at the moment that I plan on looking into when I get the money or feel like wasting time on KaZaA.
