I never understood the thing about clowns, until my trip to France earlier this year. Damn freakiest clown picture ever there...

Why are so many people against clowns? Are you afraid of their spatial mutant powers (they fit so many into those little cars!) or something?

I consider clowns not as much as evil, but simply depressing. It must be depressing a hell to make your living out of stumbling, wearing silly clothes and having your face painted into a maniac smile.

I think the job is even more depressing than street vendors

Some people might enjoy that. I'd have to compare it to your average 9-5 job before I could comment. Now that'd be depressing...

this is just a random thought i'd like to add:

in a pack of playing cards, 3 of the 'suits' actually look like the thing they're named after, whereas the 4th (Club) looks NOTHING like a club? why is this?

It must be some bizarre old tradition that nobody in contemporary times actually knows...

Really?

Wow...I imagine you could have so much fun with something like that...all you have to do is chase them around with a balloon to freak them out. shifty.gif

Now that image is stuck in my head and I'm giggling my ass off...

We want freakish fears? I have a friend back at uni, who drinks vinegar by the bottle, but is scared utterly shitless of apples.

And they thought I was weird...

I'm not sure whether to wonder more on how somebody can drink vinegar like that or someone can be afraid of apples...

I just keep thinking: "Chase them with (*insert silly object here*)! Go on! It'll freak the shit out of them! It's hilarious!"

Its not a fear exactly, but my friend hates banannas. Sadly, the one time somebody tried to chase him around with one, the smell made him throw up on them. So, sure, you can chase him, but nobody's game to anymore.

Ohhhhhh...it's a smell thing. Well, I understand that completely!

I know from personal experience, that is not fun.

Not fun at all.

You know what I hate? anytime any food passes through my nose.

It's not often, other than vomiting maybe happened twice in my life.
But if I do upchuck and there's something midway, it's like Damn! I have to blow my nose now!

That's happened to me a few times... One time I choked on a taco and part of the shell got into my sinuses somehow.

That hurt.
