I don't notice a difference between containers, HOWEVER, there is a blatantly obvious difference between fountain soda, and store-bought stuff. Fountain, I find, is MUCH better. Especially when you mix them.

All you guys don't notice the difference between the containers??? My God!

Buy a can of beer and a bottle of beer (same brand) and just compare the difference. You will be surprised. If it's possible, compare a soft drink or alcoholic beverage that you like in a plastic bottle and then a glass bottle. You'll be astounded!

Nothing wrong with a pint of cider, I says. And I'll have to do a comparison of containers...

a used (empty) bottle of absolut works great for a water bottle in the refrigerator.

someone told me that once, so when I dated a vodka lover, I gave it a go. keeps water cold and adds a sort of purity that wouldn't be there otherwise.

I just have to ask because I'm hearing it so often these days: What's curry? huh.gif

Is that: what is curry, or what exactly is curry?

...having thought about it, I don't really know the answer to either myself.

Hmm, curry is this horrible stuff that people keep mistaking for food. It comes in various styles, most of which are some sort of spicy sauce. Usually eaten with rice, popadums and meat of some variety. Lister is famed for his love of the vindaloo, a type of curry.

Personally, I think curry should be illeagle.

I know, that's where I keep hearing about it! Which begs the next question: what's a popodum?

A delicious crispy bread. But I have to say I quite like curry.

Curry: apparently the smell of Greedo in the Star Wars scratch and Sniff book.

Its sort of like a giant crisp thing. Only kinda bubbly. If you can imagine such a thing.

ah the old popodum...
like it's brothers the japati (sp?) [the small tasty fried on], roti [the dry flat one - and the best], and naan bread [the thicker one made in a tandoori oven - with or without garlic, cheese, or herbs, etc.], it's used for scraping up the many varieties of curry out there...

not curries are great.
you have your vindeloo (hot), but there are so many types... rogan josh, tandoori, tikka, mago, butter, etc.

sime, next time you pass an 'indian diner' get a half butter chicken, half mang chicken with rice, and get a cheese nann bread...
tell me you don't like curry then!!!

your missing out on a whole world of wonder!!!

-----------------------------------

also in one ep. of Red Dwarf, Lister complains that he's never tried a prawn vindeloo...

I just want to say...
they're the best!!! (and crap curry's on par).
