Well you cant have ultimate evil existing on its own. It will cease to have purpose. Just making sure that everyone has their place. wink.gif

Barend, Supes, JYAMG, and any other Australians out there. Do you guys remember the add for speeding they used to show a few years back starring the 'dirt racer'? The ad looked like it was actually for this little kids bike, and shows a group of kids riding them around their driveway having a great time as the uber-happy music plays. Then one of them rides out on the road and gets hit by a car. BEST. AD. EVER.

sounds vaguly familiar... i love those adds. the shock saftey adds...
the best was the ambulence one with the mother comming out "no no i have to take him home!" and the ambulence driver:"he's going to have to live that kids death for the rest of his life."

then Fast Forward (i think) did a piss take version, but about sharp corners on tables that people walk into accidentally at parties
"he's going to have to live with those womans legs for the rest of his life"

great stuff...

Don't know if I should be resurrecting this old thread, but after I saw this ad, I thought this would be the place to mention it.

It's a new Subway commercial that features children boasting about the weight they lost on the Suway diet. Complete with 8-year old girl holding up a "large" (actually not large at all) pair of pants, just like Jared did in his spot.

I already hate Subway for being overpriced and crappy, but this is disturbing. In my humble opinion, little children do not need to be concerned about their weight. Don't get me wrong, I'm well aware of the obesity problem for young kids in America. It is the parent's job to provide healthy food and plenty of opportunity to exercise. A kid shouldn't have to diet!

There is enough pressure waiting for that 8-yr old girl in about 4 yrs when she gets to junior high school, no need to make her obsessed with her body image now.

/end rant.

So? Whadda you guys think?

I hate the Tampax commerical with the three women on the deserted island who go into this hut and find a box of cheapo brand, and they're all shaking their heads and then one is like "Follow me ladies!" and they go out on the beach and write "BRING TAMPAX!" with the cheapo brand and a plane drops a box of Tampax on the island. What the fuck is that? dry.gif And then there's the Old Navy commercial with the kid spazzing out about mowing the lawn.

I hate that Old Navy ad. Just about as much as I hate all the other Old Navy ads that have ever been produced.

well a little different... but one of the more amusing commercials ive seen just because i want one

Trunk Monkey

And I despise anything related to perfume, gap/old navyor "low carb" variations of stuff. And that one commercial with Snoop Dogg coming out of left field and spouting that "izzle" speak of his. I think it was for Dominos

I love Snoop Dogg. I love anything he's in. Okay, that may be an extreme statement but still...

I haven't seen it, but I remember seeing Old School and finding that a hell of a lot better then I expected it to be.

Is it normal for a female to be squicked by feminine hygiene or lingerie ads? Because I certainly am.

I don't know why...it just makes me really uncomfortable. The whole thing just makes me twitch with embarrassment...
