"My forecast is that around 2050, the state of Massachusetts will be the first jurisdiction to legalize marriages with robots,"

If this man actually sat down and thought about this, eventually arriving at this conclusion... I have great fear for the future of robo-studies.

The plus side to all of this, of course, would be sexbots. It's like "Tripping The Rift" come true!

Think of all the mods you could get, too. Maybe a cupholder in the lower back? Hmmm so many possibilities.

So the robot law would cause it to NOT hurt a person? Because I'm thinking the folks who pony up one of these things wouldn't get their money's worth if that's the case. Just a presumption...

Ahh, so the University of Maastricht is that fabled "doing really cool yet utterly pointless experiments instead of studying and writing essays" university. I should have gone there, and done something like seeing if mice can play the ukelele, rather than wasting a future Ł10000 on pot and philosophy.

Honestly, Jade, I think a real relationship with a real partner would be much more fulfilling. This would only be an advanced form of masturbation. If people were to MARRY their 'partner' I would likely think of it as marrying a marital aid.

Not mourning my death and moving on is still a pretty good deal. At least she'll wait untill I'm dead and not only untill she notices one of my friends is a bit better looking and leaves me after only two years leaving me to mourn.

Everything about marrying a robot sounds awsome.

Why would I have a wife to begin with when there are robots around?

That Robots are smarter than humans and sometimes are even hotter.

Don't get me wrong... people who get those 'real dolls' are freaks.

When they start making ^these babies, I'll be waiting at the end of the assembly line

Hey two words: fantasy orifices.

That's right, why settle for reproducing what nature has achieved, when we can tweak and modify according to the customer's whims and requests?

Sweet, finally we can get that aural sex we've always wanted. Ocular, too.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.
