Okay I had a brief idea that I would change the user ranks. These are the stupid things it says next to your name depending on how many posts you have. As it stands now these are the rank titles and the number of posts you need to achieve them.

Sprite, 0
Henchman, 25
Mini Boss, 50
Level Boss, 100
Guy who posts a lot, 250
Legend, 500
750 guy, 750
The Dude, 1000
A Big Melon, 1500
God, 2000

I know they're ultra lame but I wanted to know if anyone else had a better ranking system, better titles or whatever. I started to do a video game theme then ran out of steam. I am unsure how I want to handle this that's why I'm asking for advice.

How about

2000 = Has No life.

1500 = Lives in their parents basement.

1000 = Needs to get away from the computer

750 = 750 reasons I shouldn't have the internet

500 = I should stop posting

250 = Yay! 250 posts!

100 = Took the training wheels off my bike!

50 = I wish I had 2000 posts

0 = Save yourself.

It seems that if anyone's post counts ever got that high, you would want to give them special titles like they have on the L&E board. Here's some other suggestions though:

0-- Ub3r-n00b
25-- Fresh Blood
50-- Not-quite-as-fresh Blood
100-- Chefelf Overdose in Training

...or whatever.

I approve of the newly-proposed system, because it allows a role for women in the posting rank (well, at least one). The system, as currently implemented, repeatedly mentions "guys" -- HenchMAN, GUY who posts a lot, 750 GUY, The DUDE -- but not one feminine title. As if there are no women posting!
