Can you guess the winner? Of course you can. But here are the numbers anyway:

Star Wars: Episode 1 3303 votes / 33%
The Matrix Revolutions 1913 votes / 19%
Robocop 3 1273 votes / 13%
Star trek 5 1078 votes / 11%
Alien: Resurrection 642 votes / 6%
Terminator 3 578 votes / 5%
Escape from L.A. 559 votes / 5%
20 Million Miles to CowboyNeal 412 votes / 4%

Matrix Revolutions sucked. But yes, PM sucked more. AOTC did at least have Natalie Portman's nice flat tummy and ROTJ ... um... crap.

And the first comment:

Why bother putting Episode I on there at all? It makes the outcome predetermined.

I garuntee you, Robocop 3 is a MUCH worse movie than THe Phantom Menace. The only reason i got more votes, is because it is better known. George lucas's fame turned against him.

But the thing is that all Robocop movies sucked bollocks, so it's really not that obvious.

Read the post above this one once more and imagine that it was me saying that, if you please.

There was more than one Robocop movie? I saw them a few times on TV, but I thought they were repeats of the same movie.

Sequels to bad movies do little damage. The Crow was a bad movie; Teen Wolf was a bad movie; and yes Barend, Highlander was a bad movie.

A truly bad sequel has to follow a respected film. The sequel to the remake of The Fly is a bad movie.
"I had a lot of different ideas. At one point, Luke, Leia and Ben were all going to be little people, and we did screen tests to see if we could do that." -George Lucas, in STAR WARS: the Annotated Screenplays (p197).

first of all civilian, the Crow rocked. it's a subcultural thing fo a subculture that no longer exists, but it was the first non epic film i saw multiple times at the movies, 4 times at that.

it has My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult in it, 'nuff said.

Teenwolf is a silly movie, but very entertaining if you watch it dubbed in spansih. in fact watching the "I'm not a fagoot" scene repeatedly in multiple languages is one of the most entertaining 10 minutes you'll ever have.

highlander has dated badly, but its cheesyness doesn't justify a sequel that suddenly flashbacks a conversation had in the first, changing the words as drastically as was done there:

from; "why is the sky blue, blah blah blah, i don't know we're just immortal okay"

to: "oh remember when we used to be aliens on another planet?"
"yes old mate, I do."
"cool, lets go kill michael ironside then."

and going back to teenwolf 2, it has to be seen to be believed. it was writen and directed by a complete sociopath who was so ignorant that he couldn't even grasp the very simple theme fo the first and essetially tried to ripp it off and just do the same story with a different actor and sport but still managing to bollocks it up.

this is how bad a film it actually is, it's that much worse than a crap film that it's truely the worst film ever made.

What was the subculture. Ive never seen the crow so I dont know what the big deal is.

And I really liked Alien Resurection... but then... I like AvP too, so I'm probably not the best judge of movies.

I would have to agree that Highlander 2 is the worst sequal ever.

The original Aliens was so good that I like it, and I don't normally like horror movies. I can't say the same thing about Ressurection, and certainly not AvP. That was a pretty terrible movie, Ms. Abbey. I'm not going to stop you from watching it, of course. tongue.gif If you enjoy it, *shrug*
