and what are you, "mr. 13 post new cop", some sort of english major about to school me on how and what to write?
No matter the post count, dude — he's right about the ellipses!
Regarding the sentiment of the entry, though, I know for a fact that Chef spends less time on the Internet than he has, ever — or at least since the Internet as we know it was founded. Perhaps the charms of the Web increase the longer you spend on it! And don't worry, Slade! He still knows how to read! Real books, even! It's great.

I pretty much only use the Internet now to download shitty movies I'd never pay to see in the theatre. The other day I watched TENACIOUS D IN THE PICK OF DESTINY. That was a waste of time.
"I had a lot of different ideas. At one point, Luke, Leia and Ben were all going to be little people, and we did screen tests to see if we could do that." -George Lucas, in STAR WARS: the Annotated Screenplays (p197).

It is not boring when I am trying to find a product cheaper. It is getting boring for me when all the people I met eventually become busily occupied to join my games. With a rigid view the boring stuff could be cut out. Someone said to me boring is what you make of it.
These days I get more pleasure reading about scams because they are so ridiculous.

I'm sorry, I don't associate with people who only joined the forums in 2006. I've been here since 2004. Everyone knows that it's longevity -- not post count -- that gives you seniority and with that the right to talk down to and belittle other forum members.
I'm old school.

Okay, whoever checks the L&E messageboard already knows what my cryptic humming was about by now-- the brand-new Lance and Eskimo Webcomic, with updates every day this week. So there's something to look at, anyway. Chefelf! Did you see the first appearance of You today?

Wow. I remember reading that originally. Was it really 2000? So many memories.
We got a lot of good movies from that Blockbuster.
