I think in cinema history, this is the one time a massive reacall would be forgiven.
start again, try harder, build some sets, have a seperate director for actors, hire timothy zahn to write the prequels, or something like that.

I agree fully with you, Barend. If Timothy Zahn wrote the prequels, I think we would have a prequel trilogy that had the potential to be even better than the originals and three new timeless classics for us to enjoy.

Having said that I couldn't help but indulge. I voted for the Jackson option, but I certainly would not object to Ridley either. I'd also love to see how Zahn went producing a treatment.
