Sure, Nintendo is inovative, and they've come a long way since "spinach green screen" Gameboys, now to the DS, and they were the first (I think) with the whole Rumble Pack, and now all controllers vibrate for any system.
Thank you, I completely skipped over the rumblepack thing which is, of course, standard place now (except in the PS3 I think due to some licensing SNAFU).
After 18 hours in three separate line (the first two, obviously, unsuccessful), I got my 12-year-old nephew a Wii. I plan also to give him the Zelda game as a stocking stuffer. I don't think in the new year he'll complain as much that I seldom visit
Wow, you will win the best uncle of the year award for sure.
Let me start off with
Please tell me it is Not called a Wii-mote.
Not officially, but it's what everyone calls it so the name will probably stick. What're you gonna do?
As for the name
i think Revolution is WAAAAAY better than Wii
Yeah, well, you're probably right but after people said it a few dozen times it wore off and everyone got used to it. I always thought Revolution was a little too generic sounding anyway. It's like calling it the Nintendo Awesome. Wii is silly but whatever.
N64 had wave race and Golden eye. Based on that I can forgive them for the other crappy games.
And Super Mario 64, and Ocarina of Time. They did have a load of crappy games but so does every system. I bought the N64 on release day and have to say that the worst part was that the two launch titles were Super Mario 64 and Pilotwings and those were the ONLY games available for MONTHS! If one of them wasn't Super Mario 64 then it would have been a lot harder to swallow. Even I caved eventually and bought Pilotwings which I regretted immediately.
At least subsequent systems have come out with much stronger launches.
