obi wan wasn't a fan of flying, but he sure loved his lava surfing.
and "he better get used to" alot of things, because fuck knows future realeases of super special editions will have him doing all sorts of things...

Yet Obi-Wan shows no aversion to flying in either Episode I or the original New Hope.

Nice.

But as evidenced by the transformers toys, the greed continues. If anyone else here had ownership of the Star Wars merchandising, would they allow the characters to become Transformers? Don't get me wrong, I used to love Transformers as a kid, but to debase your characters by turning them into robots, it just smells of pure money grabbing.
