Yay Bastille Day! Rednecks might still be proud of their absurd and fascist-rooted "freedom fries", but those papas fritas are always French fries to me. And they have the guts to stand up to the US on the international front, unlike certain other western European countries.

I'd have never gotten Bass + Daffodil = Bastille Day, either. I didn't even remember it was Bastille Day.
