Hi, I'm still relatively new here and I've been checking out some of your profiles, but I seriously can't go through all of them so I decided to make a post. Basically I'd like to know how old some of you are and what you do for a living, if you have a job that is, because some of you seem to be here a lot more than others like myself and things like this have a lot to do with it. I'm just curious that's all. I myself am 28 and work as a graphic designer for a company that publishes newspapers for the community and military bases in San Antonio where I live. I design the print advertising and sometimes handle the page layouts of one of our papers. I also have a second part-time job selling electronics at Wal-Mart 5 nights a week to make ends meet, so I am pretty busy. Anyway, this could have been put under the "Introductions" post, but some people are just making up random crap there so if you could please be honest here. Thanks.

There is something I'd like to add on below:

I see that the idea of marriage may be good but not when it is so unbalanced. I do not want to get married at all to what I have seen around. It seems that there are too many people who stare at one position of my coat or trouser pockets perhaps for my wallet.

Noticingly to what I observe in some situations: (1) They are so nice and generous at first. (2) Then they want to get married. (3) To move into my house and slowly claim ownership. (4) Then problems lead to a divorce. Either they can legally take half of my wealth or deeply with children so the house has to be theirs to live in. Basically I could be thrown out legally. Next step I can see are lawyers.

I don't want that to ever happen to me. I am not willing to pay the price. Has it ever happened to you?

Not holding my breath of course.
Personality: Definately the nice guy. I've got no real enemies, and would be willing to sacrifice myself for any of my friends and probably someone who I at least thought was a good person. Used to be real quiet, but now I'm pretty outgoing. Good at looking at girls at eye level and paying attention to what they say. It's either that or nobody calls me on it (staring at chests that is, especially since height definately has it's advantages). I'm also one of the most understanding people to a lot of people I've met, but only if I thought that they actually deserved it.

I'm fifteen, and feel a lot younger, unemployed, and soon to be engaged in six hour/day summer school (Because I suck so badly at physics I don't want the same thing to happen with chemistry, so I'm getting in practice early). I'm enough Western European mutt-ish that I can't pretend I'm not American when politics enter a conversation. I'd say that I'm likeable, except that it might be more accurate to say that I am severely socially handicapped- my social skills are at about the same level as my motor skills. Which isn't a good thing. Sadly, this alone isn't enough to make me count as a geek/nerd on any test on the internet, since I fail rather badly at math/science-y things and to my knowledge there is no such thing as a humanities geek.
