Anyone know why he didn't help write ROS? Was it his choice or Georges?

Something I've been curious about for a while.

Well, he helped write Attack of the Clones and we all know how much of a gong fest that was. Lucas made a good call in not having him co-write ROTS.

It's funny that Lucas was accused of making Leia not feminine enough in ANH, but yet she's a very strong and powerful, likeable character. Yet, he couldn't carry that trait over to the PT; even though Padme and Leia are related.

No, Lucas doesn't seem to have a clue about women. He was lucky with Leia. I had read he wrote her after his own sister, who was a tom-boy, which makes sense. But, it's obvious Lucas has not been present at a real birth when you watch ROTS. Lucas is not a pig or a chauvanist by any means, but he tends to disregard the character of Padme in the PT. It seems he can't fit her in to it all.

All I know is I haven't seen the real prequels yet.
