Of course they do. Because I don’t view my deities as omnipotent all encompassing divinities, its easy for me, as well as many pagans and polytheists to commune with our deities. They are not placed on such high pedestals that they are unreachable like one might view the Judeo-Christian God just as an example. The gods of the Celts had human traits like hunger, jealousy, lust, ect. Some of the old gods are heroic figures that were deified in legend. Others were faery folk that came from islands like Avalon and Tir na Mna. In this respect they are closer to us, regional and cultural deities - not massive universal energies that govern all existence. Its kind of hard to explain I guess.
