It would have been better if he had lost. We could have seen him get all mad (dark side) and qui Gonn could have just hacked watto with the sabre, and head for the hills. It would have been a lot more exciting. My nervous system shut down during the Pod Race scene. Same thing happened during the clone war battle.

And what is the deal with that low bass "umphf" noise we hear in every vehicle. the sound editors mixxed that Sound clip with everything!

The best noise to date has been, and always will be, the Speeder bike scream form ROTJ.
