There's nothing in the world worse than a bad summer cold. I have spent the past day at home, napping and relaxing. Today the temperature is supposed to approach 90 degrees which makes wrapping yourself up in a blanket and drinking tea nowhere near as appealing as it would have been in December.

Six years ago I had the worst cold/flu of my life and spent 2 weeks in my bedroom in the heat of August playing The Sims. I also developed a hallucinatory reaction to cough syrup during that time so now I avoid taking it whenever possible.

The problem with being sick is that it's just so boring. I've just successfully killed most of my morning by watching horrible conspiracy videos on YouTube. Start with this one... it will chill you TO THE BONE!

For colds ginger or ginger beer, barley cup, lemon and honey seems to make a difference. Usually cold baths makes me feel normal again, for a couple of hours.

Did you have ragweed or hay fever with it?

A mixture of people and sheep, I guess.

that would make sense I suppose....for some reason, I was thinking it had something to do with a steeple made of sheep.
