When you said, "people don't tend to think that much when they're on a killing spree." Isn't that barbaric as well? Also isn't countries like China barbaric in executing people secretly and unjustly over some type of meditation and relaxing?

Actually I meant an eye for an eye within reason except for accidents that were not intended, how about turning them into slaves?

What I am thinking of is a fair constructive, non jail sentence that will set a good example to others directly to the evil they commit. Do you have any ideas?

personally i think they they should lock him in a bright white cell with no windows and a small razor blade with a post-it-note that reads; "for wrists or throat"

he can figure out the rest or starve thinking about it...

Well aren't the deaths of people that are killed irreversible? So other than "an eye for an eye" and "a none capital punishment" what methods do you think can be fair?

Barbarically yes but only in reason to his barbaric behaviour towards his irreversible actions if intended. Do you have any solutions in the same style?

Oh to commit suicide in an honourable fashion. Well that is one simple way forward. Sounds like the honourable way of a self expected death sentence.
