I hear ya...I have slowly but surely been teaching myself photoshop.
After seeing one of their threads about movie and video-game crossovers...i was inspired to make a crossover of two big hollywood movies myself.
heres the result of about 2.5 hours of hard work:
What do you think?
My favorite parts are the hands....google the original MOF poster and you'll see that i actually went through and found images of spider-man's hands that matched nearly perfectly with the position of Denzels. Aside from either reversing the direction or tilting them...the hands were sure fits.
pretty crazy

Nice work it is, indeed. Maybe you should adjust the hue/saturation of Spidey's mask just a tiny little bit and soften the edges between the hands and the sleeves. Plus, the original image is a little grained, so maybe you should add some grain to the new elements as well.

Pop quiz, hotshot. Garry Kasparov is coming to kill you, and the only way to change his mind is for you to beat him at chess. What do you do, what do you do?

Noted.
I saved the original .psd so when I have some time I will get around to it. I am pretty busy right now though as the wrestling team I coach is preparing for the state-qualifying tournament.
