This thread is about a club, and that club is about dating, and that dating club is about fantasy dates that you would go on if you could go on them. But they are fantasy, so they have to be semi-unrealistic.


My list of fantasy dates:

1) Go back in time and date Marilyn Monroe. Eat some sandwiches together and watch some shitty movie in the theatres. Wouldn't that be romantic?



But it would have to be sometime before 1962. In 1962 she really let herself go: see here




2) Then I would date Monica Bellucci. We would eat some popcorn, watch a movie, then go back to my place to eat some tang.




3) Then I would go on a date with Daphne and Velma... we would go to McDonald's... then the mall... then into the mall bathroom... and then we would do something that was none of yo' business.

We'd make a picnic bag and toss it into the boat, and float around Indian Arm. Sandwiches would be eaten, some wine drunk. There would be hackey sack. At one point we'd lament the coming death of Canada's two most critically acclaimed series, Da Vinci's Inquest and This Is Wonderland. Of course with Cara this would be a really spirited conversation since she's in the latter. Fucking Canadians, we'd say. Wouldn't know a good tv show if it assumed human form and bit them in the ass, screaming "I am a good tv show!" By this point, when we started considering the personification and violent outburst of tv shows, we'd be pretty drunk. Good things parking a boat ain't like parking a car, I'd say. I hope you don't fuck like you drive, she'd say, and we'd laugh at that. I'd tell Sarah that one of my favorite films is still Muncahusen, which might seem creepy, but I didn't mean it that way. I'd ask Cara if she knew she had one of the biggest pictures on the Internet (here), because she might not know that.

*sigh* I'd settle for Dawn. After all, we'd be the perfect match, what with me being her creator and she being the hot chick that likes to step out into the rain without wearing any underwear. We'd go to the movies and laugh at all those coloured people, whilst the romantic atmosphere is getting dense when we're watching Sin City. After that, we'd simply walk home through the rain, then start watching From Dusk till Dawn but soon get quite distracted and focus our attention on something else... like... umm... eh... popcorn.

I thought this thread was about dating the person, not just looking at them? Maybe I'm being silly, but isn't there more to a man/woman than a pretty face when it comes to a date, especially a dream date? Or do all of these beautiful people have wonderful personalities too? Or does a dream date only involve someone pretty/famous?

Seriously, what are people's criteria for these things? The only one who has actually explained the date portion was Civ2. (Speaking of which, that does receive the Biggest Picture on the Internet I've Ever Seen award.)

Yeah, my dates include dinner, movie or skinny dipping, and sex. I dont really like to get caught up in those pesky details. My philosophy is "feed me, fuck me, then go home." Although... I'd let Kelly Hu stick around as long as she wanted. Monica too.
