Pff. That's totally SFW!

Elated Moment: I now have re-wetting drops for my contacts and eyes since I need to wear them so often these days. :-) The air is very dry in this office and sucks the moisture out of them. But not anymore!

Elated Moment: I GET TO GO TO THE BEACH TOMORROW!!!!! *dance*

And then downtown Charleston Saturday! I'm so excited! Charleston and the beaches down there are my second home. (I used to live there, and I have lots of family there.)

And then almost as soon as I get home, I'm traveling again, and then as soon as I come back from that, I and my two best girl friends are going to Charleston/the beach together for 5 days! Hooray! (So I won't be on here much for a while... Sporadically at best.)

Hooray for swimsuits and Charleston clubs!

I've only been to the beach once in my entire life. Have to say it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Going into the ocean and playing in the water is unmatchable.

Ocean beaches really are the best, especially if you get a spot that isn't being whored out as a trash can by resort goers.

HOORAY! I haven't been able to go to Charleston since a school trip I was ten! Brilliant place! (And it was even cooler since we were learning about Stede Bonnet and other cool historic piratey stuff!)

And my mother grew up right on the beach, there, too!
Check out my crappy drawings!

EM: No more summer school for me! Ever again! Yay! Plus my teacher wasn't mad at me for leaving a week early for no particular reason other than that I didn't want to take the final. And I made the bus today. biggrin.gif

I like to go swimming on beaches but I have not been for a long time.

How is it possible for beach sand to turn into quicksand?
My guess is to pump a lot of water and air deep down under it.

The beach is good, but sadly everbody else always has the same idea. Bloody crowded. That's why it's good to go on uni holidays when everybody's at school/work. Also, why is there never any girls at the beach aged between 16 and 35? Seriously, it's a complete void.

Generally the only times I go to the beach are in the winter. It tends to be very empty. Plus you can see frozen waves.

I am a bit paranoid about getting in the sea whilst babies are bathing there with their parents who hold them. I move well away as they can excrete at any time. No thanks to freshly diapered filtered urine and poo.

I always wondered, what would it feel like to drown in quicksand?
No where to move.
Then no way to breath.

I am not sure what happens physically inside the body when the person is suffocated but I know that that the organs stop.

Elated Moment #1: I'm back from Charleston, temporarily, that is. I leave in just a couple days for New England for several days, then bacm to Charleston on the 10th.

Elated Moment #2: It was GREAT! Beautiful weather; we went in the evening so the temperature was mild; played with my little brother lots; got lots of pictures... And it wasn't uber crowded with tourists, not only because of the time of day we went but also because my aunt has a beach house on a private, gated community. So tourists can't get in. tongue.gif And we know secret spots where there's no one, if we want to be just us. But there are also places where there are lots of people... Places which must be revisited when I'm there longer with my girl friends instead of my family, hehe. And Sime, I dunno what beaches are like in Australia, but there are PLENTY of hot chicks (and guys) over here. biggrin.gif

But I missed you guys! (Is that sad? tongue.gif)
