I've never understood the point of hot wax in that context. tongue.gif

DS: What are you charging? And I've heard that Perl is really easy to use and learn. You should pick up a how-to book on the subject.

EM: It's almost the weekend!

Where I get to do homework the whole time.

(Shortened as for the long address for google translator)

Eight way battery charger, with a serial port for battery information. The Voltcraft software works okay but I want to transport the information to a web page which is why I am wanting to make this work.

Unfortunately I do not know the commands in the areas of language, which is why I need help in asking questions. It may take me a long time to get the help needed.

I have the equipment, software but not the knowledge. I did exactly what it stated with the serial port module but I have problems on knowing what to do, or how change directory in Active Perl.

If anyone could help, I will be pleased.

Shame, I have the equipment software but not the knowledge or knowing what to do.

Perl... heh... *grins*... heh heh... HA!... Whooo ahahahaahaha! MWAHAHAHAHAH! BWAAHAHAHAHA! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif *hack* *cough* *hack* *cough*...

Sorry, but I was just thinking... Dee might actually understand it perfectly. Anyone who's ever had to scan through fifty pages of Perl-Code for bugs will agree with me.

I find it ugly to post a site with a huge link from Google translation. Why translate something I already know?

Does not mean I am German.

No I have never used Perl before, and from what I have seen I do not know where to start with problems I am having, with the commands.

I would be grateful if anybody can reserve the time to help me out to help get this working, and in return I could try to make it up to them.

I'm sorry, I don't know Perl, but if I did, I'd surely help you, and you wouldn't need to repay me, either. you could try to ask in one of the tech threads on the board, though.

And all the translated text says is that DS knows German.

Yes I am going to do that later when I have more time.

I am not German, it is that the products there never let me down before in appearance or usage.

Perfection is what I am looking for, to learn to make that perfection work is vital for me.

Yeah, perfection's our business alright (unless we're speaking of world-domination). And I'd rather not think of Dee as a German, too. We already had more than our share of psychos with weird accents.

That doesn't mean anything. Earlier he provided a link to a Punjabi website, that I wouldn't think anyone would come across unless he/she was Punjabi... It's the internet, you can't make assumptions based on anything these days! Besides, maybe he translated it for himself, too.

I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.
