Well, that's a reason to see it then. laugh.gif

Oh, and I love the series... (That is, I saw a few minutes of the last thingummy and liked it.)

Yeah, I'll probably see it.

I will see it, but I may wait awihle.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

I must have missed those.

Haven't seen Underworld 2. Didn't know Underworld 1 did well enough to earn a sequel.

Why do I suspect someone else did the Vampire VS. Werewolf thing long before Underworld came along?

Because it's such a totally awesome idea that Vampires Vs Werewolves must have been done since the dawn of time.

Not unlike pirate.gif vs ph34r.gif

I want to go back to the films of the 80's, where plots were simple, and explosions happened regularly....

I thought those court cases had been settled and White Wolf lost?

It was the reason Underworld took so long to hit Australia in the first place.

The first Underworld was trying to be The Matrix Reloaded which, like every other movie since, was trying to be The Matrix. The first underworld ate my balls, the second one horked them up in my lap. I cannot stress how terrible those films are.

Dark sets, katanas, black leather trenchcoats, gothic bullshit and romeo and juliette cookie cutter lovestory crap. Fuck you, Underworld, if I wanted to see goths going about and whining in faggy black leather I'd start Live Action RPGing some Whitewolf. It would probably be less embarassing to know that I was pretending to be a tremere antitribu with a fetish for the blood of male prostitutes than to know that I paid any amount of money to see a film that tries so hard to be another film.

And another thing, makers of underworld, Vampires are not all idiot goths. If you want to portray characters, portray real people. Every vampire in underworld sat about in a mansion on their arse trying to look graceful and statuesque. Every werewolf was a hyped up violent twatfuck.

Also, if that one guy says "leave us" one more time I'm going to... I don't even know what I'll do. It dosn't make the scene dramatic when that bald titflapper orders the mobile s and m nightclub that follows him to "leave us" and half the time when they "leave them" the guy dosn't even say anything that couldnt have been heard by, like, the entire state of Misouri.

Here is a short play that would also make a good sequel to underworld:

Vampire guy: I am going to lounge about languidly and look deep and pesnive.

Main character chick: I have a trenchcoat and stand in the rain sometimes.

Vampire guy: Leave us.

Main character chick: Why did you make them leave?

Vampire guy: Because noone should have to watch this uninspired bollocks.
