someone pleeease tell me i'm wrong, but i could swear that when yoda takes off in his wookiee shin escape pod there is a musical reference to the E.T. theme song
i only hope it was an auditory halucination on my part

Oddly, I thought that, too. I don't think you're mistaken. I'm not up to seeing ROTS again for some time to make sure.

Duh, the same guy did the music. The well-known John Williams. Of course it's going to sound similar.

I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

Hmm, well, the wookies also immitated Tarzan, so maybe they've just tried to add some more jokes to it, thus the reference to E.T.

Williams could also be asked to include the "Jaws" theme to suggest hidden danger with clones afoot. Then of course they go agent 66 with the theme at full gory. What else?
Indy moments for sure; hey, it's me. Wait. I have an idea.
Whenever I think of Williams it's no longer SW main title, but those "dleet, leet, leet, leeet" things. You know, with the chimes, flutes and bells? Does Hook ring bells?
Of course there's the Superman theme, which manages to rise above Williams' more commercial work; which includes the NBC-TV news jingle (or was it replaced)?

as yoda is, personality wise, unrecognisable from the yoda of ESB and ROTJ, i dare say and wager that yoda in the PT is nothing more than a reference to the person in a yoda costume in ET....
