It is with great sadness that I inform you of the death of comedian/actor Richard Pryor, who passed away today at the age of 65 from a heart attack.

RIP, Mr. Pryor.
I am the Fisher King.

I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an obi-wan to go.

Mr. Pryor was one of my favourite comedians. This was the worst thing I've heard in some time. sad.gif

I loved Richard in 'Stir Crazy', 'Brewster's Millions', and 'Car Wash'. I've yet to see his special 'Live on the Sunset Strip', I know his work on the stage out does his film career ten-fold, but here in Utah you might as well be asking a librarian for the satanist's bible.

Oddly enough, when I first saw the news title, I read it out loud. My mom overheard me and I found out she was a big fan of his as well.

the king of stand up comedians...

i feel sorry for anyone that's only familiar with his film work. as awsome as it is, his stand up stuff was the kind of material that had you struggling for air.

there are few who have made me laugh as hard as he.

he and gene wilder were definatley the best repeated pair of 'buddy pics'

I actually had no clue who he was, and saw this on the news a couple of nights ago. They played a clip of one of his stand-up routines, and it had me laughing pretty good.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.
