We had the black death, spanish flu, could the bird flu be the next?
Ps I know the link is quite positive about the cure but I think its just a money making scheme.

Actually, bird's flu is so five minutes ago in Poland. We had our media field day some weeks ago, alongside with drugs company seling out all available vaccine for normal flu.
I cannot believe people can be that stupid.
First, the virus has not yet mutated. Therefore, vaccine for EXISTING viruses is pretty much useless against a virus which has not yet appeared.
Secondly, it is a flu, not Ebola of HIV, for heaven's sake!
Spanish flu only claimed so many deaths because people were exhausted after the war.
Anyway, our minister of health announced that we are past danger for this year, because the season for migration of birds has ended and chicken may now roam free again.
Idiots.

There was a mutation of Ebola that was airborn. Fortunately, it only affected monkeys, but it wiped out quite a few in a laboratory before anyone figured out what was going on.

Well, it's not the asians' fault that they live in such poverty. It their governments that are so corrupt and greedy that suck up all their money and leave them in the mud. That's why most charity drives for places like Africa don't work as well as they should be; their governments are taking the money for themselves.

By the time any black hole destroys the galaxy, we'll all be long dead and the human race will likely be on its way out. Especially considering the fact that our destruction of this planet is a great deal speedier than our efforts to find ways of leaving it.

I remember two years ago, SARS was supposed to be the end of life as we know it.
Once again, western society's obsession with bad health takes over...:S
I wonder if the Rolling Stones will throw another massive rock concert in Toronto that no one outside of Ontario will know about, if Bird Flu hits T.O...
