Firstly: Yes, that term. It's far too close to one of those words that no matter what you do, you can't shake the context that it's in and every mention brings up two hundred years of hatred and ethnocentrism that makes me sick. I try to stay away from it as much as possible.

Secondly. You hear Chavez and think GTA, I hear it and think "Fight the Imperialist American aPig Dogs!" tongue.gif

Edit: Forgot my second asterisk.

I'm sorry Slade, I tried but I just can't get past it. Maybe one day i'll learn to live with it, but thats the best I can hope for right now.

That aside, i'm sure every country has some version of the Chav. Well, I know Japan does anyway (so I suppose my 'every country' theory doesnt have too much weight behind it).

For my full thoughts on the matter, you know where my site is by now, they're there.

i think everyone needs to lighten up about that crap...

the past is the past, and it shouldn't be forgotten but it shouldn't hang over us like nihlist poet at a party that everyone's trying to enjoy.

interestingly enough, there's been quite an influx building our african population here latley, and from what i've seen, not a single homie among them.
which really puts out arabic, lebanese, and white kids out of context.
