Because, uh... we want a beast for president?

People say that a monkey could do a better job of running the US, well, I say that Monkey could do a better job! Barend, back me up, if you would be so kind...

Umm, I'll back you up.

You know, this is a little bit off topic, but isn't it ironic, or something that Bush sounds like he says 'War on Terra'?

I'm sorry, did I miss a re-election? Did the monkey get voted out?

That's the one.

I think everyone who wants to be presedent should just right their name down and someone could pull it out of a hat. Could it work worse than our current system?

I doubt it. I'd say that we would have a much better chance of not getting some prick who likes trying to screw the country over.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

"And the Evil that was vanquished shall rise anew. Wrapped in the guise of man shall he walk amongst the innocent and Terror shall consume they that dwell upon the Earth. The skies will rain fire. The seas shall become as blood. The righteous shall fall before the wicked! And all creation shall tremble before the burning standards of Hell!" - Mephisto

Given our track record, I think that the name pulling would work better. I would at least like a president who is fluent in friggin' VERNACULAR English. He doesn't need to talk like a Yale graduate or anything, just not mispronounce so many words that he stops to rest his subpar mental faculties and his hand-picked lackey-crowd feels the need to cheer him on for pronouncing "the" and "Texas" correctly as encouragement...

I think that if Bush could speak well, and they hired a speech writer that didn't make it sound as if he was spewwing forth so much BS that I am cracking up everytime I hear the man talk (because I can't believe anyone would ever buy into it), that people would give him a lot more credit. And that dopey ass grin of his where his mouth is slightly open. I always imagine him thinking how the Hell did I ever get elected a second time, let alone the first time?

The same reason Adolf Hitler was elected. Well, I suppose Hitler didn't need to rig the election but you get my drift.

I'm sorry, I have to disagree with the good Doctor... Hitler was elected because of his excellent skills as an orator, the way he could motivate and manipulate a crowd, and the way he was helping Germany's economy... Among other things that require intelligence, as twisted of a person as he was. Bush was just lucky. tongue.gif
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

Hitler didn't need to rig the election because he bought out the government first. Everybody voted for him because only his party could run. But at least he didn't go around saying he'd cut taxes, increase military spending, and somehow not ruin the economy...

Hitler was elected for two main reasons: Germans knew that Hitler wanted to kick some ass so Germany could have Empire too. Secondly, German industrialist knew that Nazism would pretty much abolish trade unions and save them some cash.

Whereas Bush was elected because... hmm... nevermind

Bushand Hitler do have at least one thing in common: Noone really opposed them when they had the chance. Shit, Gore and Kerry? Come on if you want to topple a loonie like Bush you'd better have someone who isn't terrificly boring.
