People that say "does that make sense" every other sentence annoy me. It seems condescending. Makes me want to say "Duuuh no, that no make sense. Duuuuh I stupid." or "You know what doesn't make sense? You have just received this amazing revelation, and the world is not beating down your door. People should be lined up around the block to catch a whiff of your glorious aura. PEOPLE!! PEOPLE, WE HAVE OURSELVES A GENIUS!! ... They don't listen, does that make sense?"

Note: this was longer... I cut it down... it really bugs me. smile.gif

Dorothy, I feel ya! Only, people that say ANYTHING every other sentence annoy me. Such as when people have to always throw in a "what-not" (I was going to a party and what-not, and there was beer and what-not, and I wanted to get a chick or what-not..." What would the "what-not" be?) Or when people say "You know what I mean?" (Pretty much the same thing as the "Does that make sense?") Just when people just have their one word or phrase they can't get away from...

(((But then, I probably have something like that, myself, that I'm unaware of at present. If anyone ever notices that about me, please smack me, then tell me about it so I can fix it!)))
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

I am guilty of throwing in "You know?" every now and then, but it's to make sure that the person is still paying attention once I can't tell if I'm being acknowledged or not. It comes from being completely ignored and frequently talked over during school when I was in a group, I think. After a while I kinda just phased out of even participating. The most annoying thing was that I almost always knew a better way of doing the project then the assholes in my group...

I actually don't have problems when working in groups. I just scowl bad tempered-ly, steal the assignment sheet, and do the whole thing myself.

You are certainly right my egyptian friend.

What really annoys me most is the dreams where you want to do something so your dream makes you do the opposite. LIke ill be dreamin about a fan spinning and my dream wont let me spin it so it spins the other way. I hate those cracked up dreams.
