I can imagine it now...

2 warriors of comparable skill, sitting infront of a SNES and a widescreen tv. Unblinking determination on both sides, a bead of sweat dripping down one competators forhead. You can cut the tension with a knife...

All set to the classic russian theme music.

Kirby: That's brilliant! I want to make it into a short independant film, complete with bad Japanese to English subtitles. biggrin.gif

And now the Tetris song is stuck in my head. pinch.gif

you know... i actually went to work and came home to find she'd spent the whole time, the whole day, working at beating my highscore...

she was breaking it as i walked in the door...

she actually expected some loving after that...

i still beat her though straight afterwards.

The Tetris theme song is a most excellent song. I programmed my phone to play it when someone calls, unless it's a good friend, in which case the Zelda theme song plays. Of course, the Excorcist theme song warns me that my parents are calling. biggrin.gif

I am jealous. Now I want to get a cell phone just to get a cool ring tone like that. ><

Unfortunately, no one here is cool enough to recognize any of my ringtones. If just once, someone would come up to me and say, "Did your phone just play the song from Zelda?" or something similar, my life would be complete.

Beat her score, or beat her?

I never liked tetris, so I don't know the music. But I would pick the zelda music. I got that for my old monophonic nokia, but the high pitched bits hurt my ears, so I never used it.

You're more likely to get the sh*t beaten out of you.

mobile phone ring tones are cool the first 5 times, boring the next 10 times, and downright annoying thereafter.

If it's not your phone you apply a factor of +15 to the scale.

I once heard a Zelda ring tone on the train. Although I didn't say anything, I instantly thought that person was cool.

I, Slade, formally accept utter defeat and hereby surrender to Slade's Girlfriend (hereafter known as "my girlfriend"), giving her the earned title of "Better Gamer than Slade". Yes, friends, colleagues, enemies, trolls, spammers, and James12345 (for lack of a proper label to apply him under), I suck. I've been owned, pwned, and had my ass removed from my body and been forced to kick it myself after it being handed to me by the woman who hides behind the Evil Ducky avatar and who also has my heart.

pinch.gif wub.gif

Now, so as not to be obnoxious, I open the floor to all of you other people out there who have been forced to surrender and acknowledge those that are more l33t than you. Stand up straight, look solemn, and let your voices ring out clear and true.

Edit: Thank you, my pedantic love, for pointing out my typos for me. biggrin.gif

well, if it makes you feel better, i woke up one night at like 2 or 3 in the morning to find i had cut of circulation to my arm... i held it out infront of me (above) as i lay there, and tried to shake the feeling back into and lost controll of it as it violenlty swung down and smacked her in the head.

she woke up and said "what did i do?"

which really suprised me... i expected her to start smashing into me.

pinch.gif Awful story. tongue.gif

When I lose circulation, sometimes I'll try to move my arm and it'll go in the opposite direction I intended it to. That's friggin' weird.

I remember at work once, one of the other staff members were trying to shoo away a fly, and slapped a customer.
