does anyone else watch this line up
(order not known off by heart)

the Brak show
Harvey Birdman Attorney at law
Space Ghost coast to coast
SeaLab 2021
etc.

i've only caught it a couple times... but i laughed so hard i thought i was going to die... literally die, jes!!!

i cannot stress enough how important this shit is...

most of these shows revolve around taking the piss and including characters from 60s cartoons and stereo types.

sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo funny!!!

Oh man, I haven't seen Space Ghost since I was thirteen! That show was great! I always loved Zorak...

I've seen it. It's good. too bad it was usually when I'd wake up at 2 or 3 am on the couch, so I couldn't fully appreciate it. Wait, I'm remembering more now. I like Sealab. smile.gif

Space Ghost C2C is about as long-running as the Simps, if SG is still fresh.

wasn't there also Lupin III? Reminded me of a smart-ass former boss of mine.

As far as I know, those shows rock. There was a commercial for Harvey Birdman Attorney at law, where the mayor or whatever called Birdman on the TV moniter and:

Mayor: Umm... Birdman? Isn't Avenger (his hawk) a little close to the missile button?

Birdman: Nonsense! Avenger is a trained professional! The coffe button's right below the missile button! Get..... Birdman.....Coffee, Avenger!

(Avenger reaches uncertainly for button)

BM: COFFEE AVENGER! COFFEE!

Avenger: Kaw! Kaw!

It was bloody hilarous. That and the Sealab 2021 commercial where one guy's like "I've got a hair dryer!" "Don't bring that in the pool!" ZZZAAPPP!

What is this Adult Swim? I've heard it mentioned a lot, but never seen it. Barend, is it on free to air here, or just Foxtel?

The only show mentioned above that I've seen is Harvey Birdman, which is on Happy Tree Friends and Friends. I find it brilliant, but I can't stand the rest of the crap on that show. Plus, it clashes with Stargate, so I don't watch it.
The Green Knight, SimeSublime the Puffinesque, liker of chips and hunter of gnomes.

Adult Swim is like some sort of bizarre and out of place Renaissance of cartoon comedy. It features TV14 (and sometimes MA) cartoons. It's really odd, because you go from the general 6 years old children with ADD and high on Sugar Pops material with no jokes that belong outside of PBS for the mentally challenged to this wonderful satire. Most of it is delightfully non-sequitur, some is fucking amazing, all of it is hilarious. A lot of them mock old Hanna Barbara cartoons that sucked (like the original Birdman). I wouldn't have a pic of Rusty as my avatar if Venture Bros. wasn't so great. And it all starts with Futurama followed by Family Guy.

It's on Cartoon Network at around 11PM est here. Although there are some shitty shows on it too, like the TV anime stuff and that Super... Milk Chan? Some dreadful flashing lights and swirling backgrounds short Japanese character thing. But the lineup is a must watch. Or download, if you do that sort of sleazy stuff... pirate.gif

Home Movies is my personal favorite from the Adult Swim lineup. Paul made some sweet DVDs of the ones he'd recorded off of TV? smile.gif

Adult Swim is about the greatest thing on the air, although I have to say that they do have their share of crap on it as well. Super Milk Chan as Slade pointed out is... HORRIBLE! However the majority of the lineup is truly hilarious. My personal favorites are Sealab 2021, Aqua Teen Hunger Force and the Venture Brothers. They have a new show on it called Robot Chicken which is definately one to watch!

Has anyone caught that new show on sunday (11:30) Robot Chicken. It's a show where Seth McFarline (or is it Seth Green?) gets all these old action figures and uses em in stop motion to do just bat-shit crazy stuff.

Highlights have to be...
When Optomus-Prime got prostate cancer.
The human torch complains to a doctor that it burns when he pees
Or this little pokemon skit
    Pikachu: "pika-pika pee"
    Squirtle: "squirtle squrtle squrt"
    Pikachu: "Pika Pee"
Squirtle: "Squirtle squirt... What the hell is this, it doesn't make any god damn sence"
Pikachu: "say your line or you'll get the gas"
Squirtle: "why the hell are kids even watching this, Read a book damnit!!!"
Please tell me someone else has seen this masterpeice too.

they also had an episode of a show i used to watch... a cartoon with a family of amazonian types who had rhino who shot flaming rocks out of his horn, two squiqqly white dudes probably callyed schmoo (that in one form or another was in very cartoon of the 70s.) and some other dinasaursque creature.... or two.

and they dubbed it with kids voices...

so funny...
