No, read his post:

They have been responsible for entertaining me, making me laugh, making me think, making me wish I didn't think and generally keeping my faith in people.
It's not the amount of posts, it's not your popularity, it's how you've affected Supes.

I do believe you mistook my member number for my post count, dear Sime. Unfortunately, I'm still somewhere in the 600s, though I do admit I was surprised to see that I've made it this far. And no worries, I'm not planning on going anywhere anytime soon. I <3 you all too much for that!
My bad. Good to see you staying though.

And after yet another brief absence I return to see that people got it each in their own ways. I've said it once or twice before, but this bears repeating. This is the single most friendly and welcoming space in the world of forums that I have encountered.
Otal, Gobbler, Cobnat, I look forward to mentioning you in my 2000 posts post. I hope you're still around for that one - it could be some time As was mentioned I go back a bit here and I really did work from memroy those people that I felt had delivered for me what Sime so nicely reminded people of. We come to these places in many respects for our own gratification and we get that through the nteractions we have with people on line.
Barend there is little doubt that you would be near the top of the list. It's very hard to consider people that have had an impact in my cyber world without your sunny disposition coming to the head very early on. Thanks also for spoting the "Video Goer" reference. It really was for people that had been here a while and I make no apologies for that. It's nostalgia after all.
Again though I'd like to send a word of thanks to Nate for continuing to offer this excellent home for us all.
The reason I was offline this time was that I moved house and was without connection for a couple of weeks. All the people previously listed in my post are now welcome to drop in and stay should they need a place to rest their heads - either be it after a heavy night of drinking aroud the Lane Cove area or be they visitors to Sydney and would like a place to stay for a night or two as part of their travels. I now have a house (a least for 12 months or so) that will accomodate guests
Thanks again all for the continued entertainment.
And now for my new custom title...
