I work in an opposite manner. The computer pulls me away from my real life. biggrin.gif
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

I only tend to come on here while I'm at work, hence my usual absence at weekends.

What do you mean you hadn't noticed....?!

Edit: 500 posts, now a sayer of sooth.

Same here.

I check before going to bed, though, and one or two times during weekends.

I usually check once in the morning, once at night, and sometimes once about midday/afternoon. This is to account for time differences. And because I'm just weird like that.

Supes, believe me, you are not the only one!

Right now my life get very much in the way of my posting - but I just want to say that I am always happy to see you pop around !  smile.gif

Hey there gorgeous lady. Nice to see you as well. It's one of those things I guess, but as per usual I'll be trying to stick my head in as often as possible. I do miss the regular chats with yourself, Barend, Jordan, Civ #2, Helena and Chef (just to name a couple).

I don't have net access at home at the moment - soon to be fixed , but it also makes it limiting.

I thought you called it quits, supes. Nice to see you're still part of the team!

JYAMG is getting married? To the korean girl? Score!

Posting here doesn't take up to much of my time. My only priority is school and even if I studied all day long I'd still just get by. I just foung out that a few of my pals had a secret 'jordan pool' going. They were betting on when I'd have a nervous break down and drop out. I hit a low last year, that's why I exited the posting of awhile.

But things are back to normal and I'm hanging on to a decent avg.

I admit that I have absolutely no social life, and hang out on my computer all day when I don't have class or am out doing nothing or playing piano. I also have broadband at college, so I'm always lurking on the forums.

Yikes, the "Jordan pool" is a scary concept. I knew a gal back in the old old days whose grades were terrible because she was a total bar slut. When she realised she was doomed, she went to a Faculty advisor and pleaded pregnancy (just like good old Anne Bonney, arr), and needed to drop out. They just let her. Straight Ws, no money back, but with no requirement for coming back, like outside courses or a year off or anything. She was back the next year, literally 8 months later. She knew a school that big wouldn't remember why she left, or much care. I have no idea what became of here, whether she pulled off the second shot or not.

Keep it up; financially, Engineering has a much steper trajectory than video store clerk. tongue.gif
