well, it rocks...

and we need a thread for it...

so far i've done only three missions then decided to wonder off and do my own thing for a while, maxing out muscle, pistol skill, ak-47 skill, and mugging the fuck out of everyone to keep my ammunition up... and thanks to gambling turned my $3,246.00 of mugging/stunt/mission money into well over $2million.
needless to say i have purchased every available property in the first map...

love the new jump and climb related abilities...

you have to be so carefull, it's not like VC where you could jump off a building like bekinsale in underworld.... you have to be carefull (or be on a bicycle).

but this game f'rocks!!!

anyone know where they hide the 'user tracks' folder in this thing (for PC) i've got a lot of stuff i want to put in there from the time...

My friend has GTA-SA, and its the best GTA of them all, I think. tongue.gif I stalled on getting it though, and now that it has an AO rating, I have to get it off the internet. but still, its well worth it. tongue.gif

Isn't it annoying, having to eat all the time to keep up stamina?

Yes, and even more annoying is that you get fat. I work your ass off trying to get a good body, and then you eat and you throw all your gymnastic effort away.

OK, that was a bit much.

I've spent a lot of time and money buying every piece of clothing available. It's not very useful, but what the hell! I just had to have it all!

Good stuff, I loved the cinimatic feel to it. The first missions acctually felt like you were playing a movie. But the part where you have to learn to fly is a bit a pain in the ass.

Learning to fly is very tedious, but once you get the hang of it, it's great. Specially if you get a helicopter, those are so much easier to land than planes

loosing your vehicle 'cross country' (for those too impatient to stick to the beaten path) is a real fucker if your stam is low...

The true nature of GTA is not to complete the missions, but to go wherever you want and do whatever you wqant whenever you want it. That's why I love the GTA's. I always go around with my weapons a create terrorist attacks and kill a hell lot of people.

I had to wait a lot to own GTA:SA because I don't have PlayStation 2. Now that Rockstar released the game, it was time to buy it.

BTW, the game rocks!

Well, me so poor, me not going to be able to snaffle SA for a while (Hell, I've barely stumped together the money for a PS2 and VC as it is!). However, I did have a crack at it when I was in Hull, and by fuck its fun. Its even more fun if you're not sure of how to drive a car except "accelerator button and steering". I've even spent many happy hours just watching people do missions. Needless to say, I eagerly await being able to beat a hooker to death with a giant dildo.

I think it's just another pathetic rehash on a stale formula. Instead of anything really new, they just added features which could have been stuck into the earlier games. The graphics are just as abysmal as the last two, the targeting is still clunky, and for all of the boasting about different vehicles, you only ever see about 5 on the road. Whee, you have stats and can give your car nitros, and they say "fuck" alot! And it's big! That's just more blurred backgrounds and low draw distance.

GTA3 is only 9$ for PC these days, and is a much better investment of my money. I'd rather see that re-released with a cosmetic upgrade and the jumping from moving vehicles than play more of this recycled drivel.

Oh, and I had to beat the last mission of SA for the annoying kid down the street because he's never been a gamer and kept getting gunned down. Lame ending, both story-wise, and gameplay wise. And it replaces your MP5 with that shitty machine pistol when you're done.

why i ought to run you over and beat you with a golf club!!!
(but then everyone would blame the game)...

the one thing i didn't like about vice city was the lack of hills and drops...
there was like one sewer and it was only like 40m long.

If your going to expand a game like this you need to deliver new missions... they wanted to try something different.
the radio stations have half the tracks of vice city, but again rockstar show their great taste in music of all genres.

i hate havening to earn motor cycle skills, but godbless freeways.
i did amazing shit in VC on motorbikes, but even when i get my skill up, i'll still have bad controlls.

and i can't seem to understand which keys or what the trick is to this stupid ass bouncing car mission...

but i like running around with a groucho marx mask on, all in green...
i look like the doctor from seelab 2021.

the afro and mo combo was fun too...

my frind has the WW1 german 'helmut', army boots, eye patch, army pants...

looks like a total militaristic psycho!

Barend, find the gimp suit! Anything you do in the game becomes 10 times funnier. If there's a jollier activity than clubbing a cop to death with a dildo, then I haven't heard of it!
