Such an asinine thing, that lead footed Lucas the director doesn't offer a hint at offering any explaination how Vader gets from point A (the bank of the lava stream) to B (the Frankenstein-like operating room). Palpatine just happens to have a unique suit of armor like no other lying around in case of what? A Sith apprentice of his "does it' and attempts a stupid jump when his foe has the high ground? WTF? And he's being taken there in the medicapsule reminiscent of Han in Carbonite from ESB with no outer cover (if memory serves me correctly, rain pouring on him, not good for a severe burn victim that's prone to get and be undone by the smallest of viral or bacterial intruders). Rather than be encased in a suit where you can't eat, sh*t, or breathe decently in, I'd take the capsule and train like the quadrapalegic rendered knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. NOOOOO!!!!!!! indeed..........

I think there's another thread on this, but it's a good point all the same.

After I hit "ADD REPLY" I recalled that there was something similar, but I don't recall if there was anything about the exposed medi-capsule, so I decided to have both ideas in one post. Apologies if its getting repetitive.....

Just think, it could have been Darth Maul or Darth Sidious in the Black Sith Armor.

Maybe Palpatine was planning to wear it himself.

You're right that could have been handled better.

ya, i dont like the ready-made suite idea, but i just curl-up and tell myself, the suite was originally intended for grievous, as an upgrade, that wouldnt really be an upgrade...except that its black!

Actually something of a pretty good point here, maybe it would be cooler if Vader's suit was made up of an element from Maul and Sideous, if they had something more substantive in fighting suits like Fett instead of just robes and boots.

The other crazy thing about the suit is that it has shin guards or greaves even though his legs are entirely mechanical.
