My summer's events:
-Car died; too expensive to fix (the money would be better put to use towards a new car)
-Felt like a sick, sleepwalking, miserable zombie for the first half of the summer because of hypothyroidism due to surgery
-Computer died; again too expensive to fix (the money would be better put to use towards a new computer)
-Air Conditioning in the house died (that's a VERY BAD THING in SC)
-Parents treated me like a maid (I felt very unappreciated)
-Some other bad stuff that's kinda personal and private
At least I got to travel a bit; went to the beach; saw friends and family; and of course there was the Elton John concert at the beginning of the summer. But over all my summer has pretty much sucked, and for the first time ever, I'm looking forward to school starting up. I have three weeks of being Drum Tech at a high school's band camp, and then I move in. And I can't wait.

Cut out half my thyroid due to a ginormous growth that had major potential to be cancerous; if it wasn't already cancerous (which it wasn't, luckily), it could have grown to be cancerous eventually if I hadn't gotten it out.
