Helpfully, one hot bath and one cold bath, twice a day, keeps me awake.
I am against showers though, but a good cleaning tool for other things.

If that happened to me, I will get the trip wire ready for next time and possibly a hidden camera in place, just to jog their memory.

Tripwire, eh? That's the best idea I've heard all day. biggrin.gif

I had to get up 45 minutes early for my 6am course registration and lurk on the system just to ensure that I can get in over all the lag that accessing students will be trying later. And then at 6 it's a race to get the classes I want. Details will either be in this or the elated moment thread once I get my courses for next quarter registered.

Complaint 2: We're on a quarter system, so we can get our asses kicked by classes three times a year by midterms and finals - four if you take summer courses too!

I got all of the courses I wanted, except I got the worst time slot possible for my lab. While it's in Astronomy (science cop-outs away!) It's on a thursday night from 8-9:50, so it's going to make flying down to visit my girlfriend even worse than it already is. And it was hard enough finding a lab that fit my schedule at all... pinch.gif So close, and yet crucial parts were off.

wouldn't studying astronomy during the day be kinda difficult?

Complaint; The guy who was supposed to cover my shift today called in sick, so I'm stuck on the wrong side of the bar for the next 4 hours. angry.gif

Depends. People often confuse astronomy with astrophysics, which can be studied during the day.

Astronomy, astrophysics...I don't see where the confusion would occur. Do they get "astrology" mixed up, too?

It doesn't seem fair to be denied a chance to try anything else just because you're bad at one thing.

I have seen worse, not so many people I see are given a chance. Unless you did not choose the course, sounds like you are bored.

You have to have posted enough to be in the "Members" group - I think that'll be about 200, 300 posts, something like that. It won't be long... Hehe, can't wait to see the pic.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.

All that talk about exercise in the rejoicing thread makes me realize how much I miss playing dodge ball. That was the only really, really cool thing about gym class (except that one racing game with basketballs) when I was a kid. Just running in there and chucking big red balls at your friends and especially those kids you really didn't like - fun, fun, fun. And even if you got hit everyone was too little to do any real damage, so it didn't even hurt.

...Who wants to play dodge ball?
