A girl I chat with occasionally (but have never met) dreamed that I cut her arm off with a chainsaw. This bodes not well for my psychic emanations.

one of the strangest dreams i have ever had, i remember fondly.

the dream starts out..with an overhead view across the vast rural plains of Nebraska..., almost if i was flying lowly in a helicopter, (but im not in a helicopter, just to clarify).

as i am hovering above these rural plains in Nebraska, I am moving swiftly towards a huge early 20th century home. You could call it a mansion. Its rather large,.about 3 or 4 stories floors high,.and I wish I could give you an exact square footage,..but I cant. But the area of each floor would probably be somewhere equivalent to that of 4 wal-mart supercenters.

this house appears wooden,.of a dark weathered oak,.and has some marble as well,.but mostly seems wooden.

I am soon brought to the front door. upon entering this mansion, I open the door to be greeted by shrill silence. There is no life, no wind, it seems tranquil.

The first room is a rather large commons area, typical of most mansions I have seen on tv/movies. It is very well decorated, as though the mansion is owned by someone of immense wealth.

The are super-sized oil paintings hanging up on the walls..and as hard I try to stare from a given distance, I cant make out who they are of. ..but I am so intrigued by other aspects of the mansion, I really dont care much about the paintings, except to mentally note that they are nice.

a very large antique chandelier hangs from above. it is late Victorian styled, and is illuminated by many tiny candles that are lit from it. But where are the butler and the maid of this mansion? so far, I have met no one,..and I really dont know who or what drew me to this mysterious mansion.

I decide to conduct my own curious investigation of the place.

Upon starting to slowly walk around the commons area, I noticed that are many hallways, going in many different directions, as well as many staircases leading up to various floors, as well as various areas on these different floors. I am utterly confused, as which direction to take, and nothing I am looking at is giving me any clues about in which way that may be better than the other.

No matter which way I walk, it would be labeled as being a random choice,..as nothing seems to casts out any bias.

For some reason, I decide to head left, and then take one of the staircases leading upwards. Every staircase is of elegant design,.despite showing its obvious age. They are of polished cherry wood and seem to spiral slightly as they make their ascent onto high floors.

as i get to the 2nd floor, I am greeted with more hallways,.many hallways,..I soon lose myself. I put my conscious to rest...as I have already came to the conclusion that trying to make logic of this place is a lost cause.

I lose myself in this man-made labyrinth. I walk down many of its hallways, they twist, they turn, some of the hallways take me to different floors of the mansion,..some up,..some down..some take me right back to where I started from..other take me to new areas I havent even been to yet.

The more I explore, the larger the mansion seems,.and my previous impressions of how big I initially thought the mansion was, are soon cast out.

I have learned that, the most interesting aspect about this mansion are its rooms,.it has many many many rooms. I could not count the rooms. There are way too many. I feel like Ive explored more than one hundred, and that would be a kind estimate, cause it seems much more than that.

You would think that by now, I am growing weary of these explorations, but this is hardly the case. I have never saw anything quite like this before in my entire life.

each room appears to have a specific theme, for example..I walk into one room..and the theme is bananas..so everything in this room..looks like a banana. The scent of the room smells like bananas,.the wall clock is shaped like a banana,.so is the bed, and the floor mat. The lamp is shaped like a banana..the curtains have banana decorations on them. The window itself is shaped like banana.

another room is red. everything in it is red. so red is this room..that youre first impression of this room when you walk into, is that it is a totally empty room that is red,..its only after you take a few steps inside, that you actually become aware that the room isnt empty at all,..but is chock full of curious,.that simply blend in rather well...there is a red bed, red curtains,.red clock,.red tv..showing programs in totally red...red books on a red shelf.

another room is a zero gravity room..that gives me an outer space feel..and another room multiplies my weight by 10 times,.making it difficult to walk..it took me almost an hour to get out of that room..but once i did,.i was back to normal.

another room i walk into,.and everything is upside down..including me...once i exit the room..i return to being right-side up,..almost as if this room had some sort of hydraulic system that quickly reverted itself upon entry and exiting it.

another room is like a fountain of youth, and decreased my age by 15 years,..another room adds 50 years to my life.

...and of course,.upon exiting each room..i am back to normal.

and just like the total red room....there are total color rooms of every color you can imagine..and even some colors you never saw before...there is a total black room...and even a total transparent room..where even myself becomes transparent,.and i can see my bones, veins,.etc....yeah its all weird.

one room even kills me, only to resurrect me and allows me about 30 seconds to escape,.or it kills me again..and the process repeats where..i have only 30 seconds to head for the door and escape.

there are rooms that play with audio, video, science, physics, gravity, immortality, conscious..really just about anything you can fathom,.and even some things you cant.

all told,.i have been exploring this house of wonders for many centuries,..although i have not aged myself,..nor have i grown hungry or tired,.because,.by my clock,..only a few hours have passed...but by your clock,..hundreds upon hundreds of years have passed.

but even though many years have passed on earth..this rural mansion in nebraska remains unaffected..there is still no urban or commercial development anywhere near it. its almost as if its in some sort of warp hole, that can only be accessed if you are summoned here

but why was i summoned here? what is my purpose of being here? i have been exploring this mansion for many years now,.and even though i still get lost in its amazing labyrinths..i have found myself coming back to rooms i have explored already before.

one day, i finally discover it...i go into the book room..the room that is filled with nothing but books on shelves...and i accidentally push myself onto one of its shelfs,..that whole bookcase rotates with me against it ,.and i am soon brought into a room i have never been inside of before....and for the very first time being in this mansion,,,i finally see someone.

i am standing inside of a smoke filled room..the smoke is rather thick,..reminiscent of a cuban cigar. the room is dimly lit...there are no open windows. in front of me is a huge antique wooden desk made of dark oak,.and i see the back of an old man's head..he is turned around in his antique leather chair,..he coughs and as he swirls his leather chair around to see me,....i wake up

i never see his face,...i just wake up...end of story.

Peter Brady was by far the ugliest Brady kid on the "Brady Bunch". I mean, they were all pretty ugly, and the fact that the Brady dad wanted to always take the boys out on overnight camping trips just a tad bit too often, gave me the creeps.

I had an odd dream last night. It was set in Mexico, and involved my a swimming pool, a market square, and buying a birthday present for my mother. For some reason, I chose to give her Guns'N'Roses' "Appetite for Destruction". Hmm.

Princess: You're actually waking up. We're all brains in vats, and you're the test subject for imitating sensations. sad.gif The old man is your captor, who you see when you're coming out of your sleep which is this world though the hazy sedatives we're all kept under. When he realized you had awoken, you had to be immediately put back to sleep.

well,,,the old man can not be my captor, because i never feel any sort of captivity sensation.

never once do i feel imprisioned or restrainted, I feel like I could leave at any time, just as simple as finding a way out of the complex labyrinth mansion. i know what youre saying though,.that he is the one who summoned me there..and that is a possibility.

no, the feelings i feel are of awe and amazement at everything,..sort of like Alice In Wonderland. everything i discover is beyond my wildest dreams (no pun intended), there are things that are lavished in complexity as well as simplicity. sometimes things looks simple and turn out to be complex, and vice versa.

I had a dream featuring zombies, pirates and hippies. It may have involved a zombie pirate hippie as well. But alas, that's all I remember.

That sounds like one of the most awesome dreams ever...at least it does if the hippies got eaten by the zombies. Did the hippies get eaten by the zombies?

Heheheh...vegan zombies! Instead of brains, they eat cauliflower (a suitably brainy-looking vegetable)! The only problem is their hungry groan doesn't sound nearly as cool.

"Braaaaaaaaaaaainzzzzzz..."
"Caulifloweeeeeeerrrrrzzz..."

Just doesn't have the same ring to it.

A couple of days ago in my sleep I was frustrated about something. I can't remember what it was about but as I pulled a piece of hair out the rest fell off on their own. Then two people broke in to steal things and I had to wrestle them with a wooden table. They threw glasses at me but I got them down to the ground eventually.

I can only hope. Man, I wish I remembered what happened in the dream... Maybe I should try hypnosis.

And couldn't those vegan zombies just get some tofu and mold into the shape of a brain? Cauliflowers don't really even look like brains, so that'd be a more suitable meal. And "Toooofuuuu braaaaiiinnzzz..." sounds cooler than "Caulifloweeeeeeerrrrrzzz..."

I wish I had dreams where I beat people up.

On a random note, I once heard that dreaming about losing your hair means you're afraid of losing your virility. Not that I ever believed in that kind of crap.

I had a dream last night where there was blood everywhere and then someone forced me to drink some blood. It tasted like they had mixed in some tomato soup, though. There was more to the dream but I can't remember the rest of it. I think it stems from watching Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom recently, as well as having tomato soup for lunch yesterday.
I am writing about Jm in my signature because apparently it's an effective method of ignoring him.
