Gambit...*sigh* I'm just happy they're finally putting Beast in. He SHOULD have been in the first movie.

In the second movie, Wolverine was just a joke. Now, don't get me wrong, I like High Jackman, and I like Wolverine, but in his first scene, they put him in FLARES. Not just any flares, bellbottoms. It was sad. Then in that last scene, after Jean has "died," it kinda looks like Wolverine is trying to pick up Cyclops. Leaning on that mantle, I can just hear him say "So, Cyc, now that Jean is dead, lets go get some coffee."

Yeah, and Hellboy better be good. I'm done.

"Well kids, I guess your father isn't a hermaphrodite."

Actually Beast was in the first one, small cameo but still. He was on one of the TV shows arguing for mutant rights, you could see the name Hank Macoy on the TV tag thingy on the bottom.

But that wasn't the same. Back in the day, Beast was one of the first characters that appeared with the X-Men. Sure, he wasn't blue and fuzzy, but he was THERE! He should have been given more than a cameo. Oh, and if you're going by name mentions, then Gambit was in X-2, because his name was on the mutant database. I don't like it!!! *pout*

It's nice to know I'm not alone on this one.

Really? I don't like Cyclops much because he's just such a good guy. He's still cool, especially in the very first X-Men series, but I still like Wolverine better.

I never like heroes, really. They almost all seem generic. Of course I never was insane about X-men at the best of times, so...

Sorry I've not read up to this point.

I remember (the comics of) DC's Captain Marvel, about the time (groan, before) of the
Shazam cbs Saturday am show. Has there been any discussion of that?

Later, he hung out with his super sidekick ISIS for an "adventure hour".
Holy Moley. I don't suppose there will be any Billy Batson auditions soon.

My favorite is Spiderman. He is one of the only superheroes I know that always seems like a real person, plus he is always funny. Spiderman in no matter what kind of media always makes me laugh.
Apparently writing about JM here is his secret weakness. Muwahaha!!!! Now I have leverage over him and am another step closer towards my goal of world domination.

Kurgan X showed me this web comic done with Legos. It pokes fun at all six Star Wars films and I found it to be extremely entertaining.

I can see that, put him in a big costume, make his voice a little less pompus. Yeah, he could do alright.

He just seems a bit hit or miss to me.

Ironically (or should it be incidentally?), Grammer's 'brother' David Hyde Pierce was the uncredited voice of Abe Sapien in Hellboy. David asked not to be credited because he felt bad dubbing Doug Jones (the actor wearing the Abe Sapien costume/makeup) after all the hard work Doug put into creating the live action version of Abe Sapien.

It was rumored that Topher Grace was going to play Venom/Eddie Brock in Spider-Man 3, but the story has reportedly been retracted. I hope it was all just an ugly lie.

Only if Topher Grace would have more muscles, it would be perfect for Venom

Who would be a perfect Aquaman?

Even with muscles I can't see Topher Grace as Venom. He's a decent actor but Venom is one of the scariest/freakiest villains ever featured in comic book-land, and I really don't think Grace as the depth and intensity to bring that out.

For Aquaman, what we need is someone who has the look, physicality and intensity of a younger Rutger Hauer, or maybe just the physicality of Dolph Lundgren. Going on appearance, well, I dunno... I heard a horrible rumor that Marky Mark [Wahlberg] was in talks to play Aquaman in a James Cameron directed Aquaman film, but I hope that's not true.

Going just on looks, well, maybe this Jason Lewis guy.

Well, actually he's probably no longer an option since John Woo picked him to play He-Man in a new Masters of the Universe film slated for 2006.
