I hope it's decent (and they at least have the huge battle on Brooklyn Bridge from the comics).

I haven't been excited about is since I saw the origional trailer. It just looks super-modern, and I hate that look. Plus the dialouge looks pretty damn bad. But it has the human torch jump off a building and write things in the sky with his falme-ness. I'm not going to go see it. Or maybe I will. Or maybe I won't.!

My geekyness demands that I go and see this movie at the midnight screening. I do have high hopes for it though, I just hope that the movie execs remember to make use of "Comic Book's First Dysfuncional Family" aspect of Fantastic Four.

I never really liked the Fantastic Four. I always read Batman instead.

I'll laugh when it's rated lower than The Incredibles.

i was annoyed that there was no mention of Dr.Doom in the spiderman movies, so i'm kind of keen to see it just for him...

and he's being played by Julian McMahon.

another sydney boy in the comic book hero selection.

hmmm...

so Julian McMahon as dr.doom
hugh jackman as wolverine
eric bana as the hulk

all we need now is to get russle crow to play the green lantern, heath leger as the flash, and maybe brian brown to play iron man... tongue.gif

I'll say this only once, but then I may say it again: X-men = greatest super heroes ever. The movies rocked. The very first comics were good, but pretty basic good vs. evil stuff. The comics from the 70's are the best comics I've ever read (too bad they're expensive), and the new stuff is just sort of... okay.

I can't wait for X-3. I'll be to that one on opening night.

How dare you say that the Ultimates X-men are just ok. My honour demands that I challenge you to a duel.

Bitch! I didn't mean the ultimates, I meant some other series that I'm getting right now. I'll trade it for the ultimate next year.

*return glove slap, just because Kirby deserves it*

"A glove slap to a little ole' place will bring satisfaction! Glove slap baby!"

Calm down, guys. Sheesh. We can like all sorts of things. However, this movie looks like crap, full of poor dialogue and one-liners, and Jessica Alba is far too young to play Susan Storm/Richards. As well as nothing but eye-candy. Hopefully the trailers are entirely wrong. And it would be sweet for a Spidey cameo too (the real one, not the wuss from the movies). But I gush...

And I don't like the look of THE THING! He looks horrible! And I agree that the movie looks like crap. But I have been wrong before.

The thing looks about as good as he's going to get without being CGI, and I don't want any more CGI, so I'm not complaining. What ticks me off is that they insist on having all the other characters look like supermodels. Thier acting abilities (from what I've seen) also are at supermodel standard. That scene in the (movie) trailer where Reed's talking about thier atoms getting rearranged? It sounded like he had no idea what the hell he was talking about.

Edit: Weeeee! Post 3000!
