Yes they were photoshopped (by him?). I remember him posting them at the time actually, why I never commented then I don't know.

Ok, so this

and this

and this

were not images from the films. I doubt Hannibal photoshopped them himself; that wasn't where his talents lay. Anyway, that pretty much clears up my confusion. I still think the actors were intentionally putting on "me so solly" accents, and I think Jar Jar was Jamaican, but we can disagree on that.

Jar jar was jamaican, all the way! He's like a gay shaved donkey with a jamaican accent. He's a mess!

I don't see how giving someone who has been held down a hand up is patronising ... please explain. If I was daily mistreated due to my colour and someone tried to initiate a program that would bring this to a halt I don't think my reaction would be "that patronising bastard".
the problem is that the stereotypes that say ghetto raised blacks or minorities cant succeed. i recently saw coach carter. that was an excellent movie.therefore they dont have confidence in themselves and dont even want to try. but there's an old saying. you give a man a fish, he eats for a day, you teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.

So instead of Affirmative Action, you would approve of improvements to the public school system. I agree; ghetto schools gots no funding, yo.

So you're saying that affirmative action is bad but increased funding for minorities is good? I think you may have tripped over your own tail.

Increase funding to all crappy schools, not just minorities

How bad are these places? I recall not giving a shit about my school. I also recall rarely reading text books or even paying attention to all our great faculites. I made it in the end. Is it really the school? Are these kids getting out dated text books? If the books were not outdated, would they then give a shit?

I never said they looke Asian; I said they looked like the Asian caricatures of the 40s. Look at some old comic books or propaganda art (not all of it, but some of it; some is relatively acurate in its depiction of Asians). Anyway, according to Jariten, those are not movie stills, but photoshopped images, so I am no longer sumbitting them as evidence.

I think it looks nice, it kinda mixes things up around here...and besides, you could be talking about Asian Star Wars schools...those need funding and new books too!

I can't move the post, Jordan, but if you re-post somewhere else, I could DELORT this one. Though Dorothy's right, it does up the discord factor a little bit. And it's sorta relevant.
