You say this with such authority. Where is this in the film, did I blink and miss it?
There was I thinking that I head Plagieus could prevent death and not create life.

But how exactly did he create Anakin? Did he slip a preganncy potion in Shimi's drink? Did he do a mumble jumble type thing and cast a spell over her? Did he rape Shimi?

I admit that i'm just joking with all the nonsense in this films.
Then what about this: Palpatine "put" that prophetic dreams in anakin's head to manupulate him better? (He allready knew that anakin is a "believer" of that stuff after the sandpeople story)

palpatine is not plagus... he has too proud a smile when talking about killing him.

i can't remember the original scorce but i was discussing it with someone after seeing TPM. i said: "i bet ten bucks lucas repeats his shit and makes palpy the father of anikan" and he said, "yeah, according to some comic or book, palptaine went around creating life here and there in the galaxy. leaving them on harsh planets to see how they would fair."

but you know, whatever...

the peices fit either way...
