The rest of us might have just shrugged our shoulders, muttered words like "what a prick" etc, but no, you didn't care so much, you had to write and let the rest of the forum know just how much you DIDN'T care. Interesting. I'll check that out. I might have a friend who has "Clones."

If that is the case, it kinda annoys me. It's like the scene where Anakin slays the sand people--why not show it?! I know that Lucas probably thought he was being clever--pulling Alfred Hitchcock's "what your imagination sees is worse than what I can show you"--but I've seen Hitchcock and Lucas is no Hitchcock.

That would have been a kick-ass scene, but instead he doesn't show it...

Besides, with the Jango Fett non-head roll, Lucas could have continued his tradition of forcing a tie-in between the OT and the PT...he could have made it so it mirrored Luke's Degoba (sp?) confrontation with Vader (yes, I know it's not really Vader for you smart-asses).

What would be the significance of the tie-in? Who knows! But it's just as senseless as a baby Greedo.

"What a prick"? No offense, but I've been pretty nice to Mr. Yourusername. If you look at our exchanges before he left I was pretty "rationale" as he might say. I even took his place and offered myself up to the potential intellectual bi*ch slapping of Patrick Bateman with my one quibble with the article!

He was the one who came in accusing everyone of being "fakers," or saying we're jealous of Lucas...and making weird references to Fight Club. Apparently critics of Lucas are only "tearing down" blah, blah, blah. Instead of actually going point-for-point he tried to do some hit-and-run criticism of us.

Then he likened himself to GOD! Even if it's only an analogy, it tells you a lot about the guy...

As for more SW news, I heard a rumour that GL is going to re-re-release the OT with TMorrison's voice in for the storm troopers? Is that for real or just bullshit?

Also I hear he is going to reshoot all six movies in 3d using washer drers, toasters, grills and other assorted machines instead of actors. He of course will direct from his ranch, a cgi projection of him will appear in the directors chair

Actually, I thought I read somewhere that Lucas was going to alter the Original Trilogy to 3-D...does anyone know if that's true? The sad thing is, even the weird rumors are now within the realm of possibility.

When Lucas dies is it possible for someone to release the OT in its actual, orginal form? Right now that's my only hope (no pun intended).
