Slade, why I have a feeling you are upset? Is there a need? I specifically suggested if Revan wants to debate, move the topic to the debate club. Fine by me.

Why are you talking about trains and busses? unsure.gif

Two things:
1) This is teetering on the brink of debate. If you want to debate, do it where there's a designated place to do so.

2) It amuses me to no end that everyone's talking about the Church's problems in dealing with homosexuals, and how awful it all is, and then going ahead and just calling them "homos" anyway.

OK, I hereby kindly ask any authorised moderator to move this thread to the debate forum, so we can get at each other's throats without risking Heccubus's wrath.

Spot on.

In all USA-politycal-correctedness one should refer to them as:
- men who have sex with men
- women who have sex with women

... and lots of other variations on its' theme (for accuracys' sake).

Men who have sex with men and especially women who have sex with women are not all homosexuals. I don't know what the big deal is with saying "homos;" I know many gay people and I don't think they'd mind. it's the conclusions of the statements that matter, not the words you use. All the same, for Hecc's sake I will from now on use "fags" and "dykes" instead. And "queer" for the whole set.

I am only a moderator in some of the STAR WARS forums, and I cannot move this topic to the debate forums. Everyone knew it would become a debate the moment someone said "God."

However: I only got in on it when it was fully down that road. This topic was started as a Christian meeting room, and I would be happy to leave it at that. Turning it into a cosmological debate centre is to hijack it. God knows the Christians on these forums have very few places where they can just talk about religion and the Bible without getting sidetracked by all us doubters.

What do you say, Revan? Care to start a new thread in the Debate room, and we'll leave this one for its original purpose?

I hope you realized I was being ironic.

...

As for the topic itself, it's just one of those things. Some are like Mulder and they want to believe.

So... believe.

Sorry, I didn't realise this was started as Christian meeting room. But when somebody says ". i feel sorry for anyone who doesnt believe in God" it does not strike me as a mere meeting room.

However, if it was meant to be like that, then I seriously apologise for hijacking the thread, and from now on I'll leave you to your devotions and I won't bother you with any more questions.

I dont mind questions, and i admit that saying i feel sorry for people who arent christians was a wrong thing to say. but thats why i want it to stay calm. and i really dont want ot debate it.
