Last night I was walking through a crowded marketplace last night when I passed a group of young adults who were all jumping around and pointing. I heard one of them shout, "That's Julia Stiles, yo!" Following his finger my eyes spotted none other than Julia Stiles descending shamefully on an escalator. My eyes made brief contact with hers before her head dipped below some flowers and plants that obscured my view.

In that instant I felt ashamed. I was ashamed that I made eye contact with her. She seemed to have a look on her face as if the group of idiot kids had yelled, "Hey, that woman is ugly, fat and foolish!" I'm sure she was just disgusted at the fact that she couldn't merely walk through a shop without a collection of fools pointing and shouting at her, however, it appeared at that moment that she was ashamed of being a rich, famous and instantly-recognizable Hollywood star.

I was happy to see her. Not really because I'm a fan or anything, just because I've been gonig through quite a celebrity dry spell. It was refershing to see someone I recognize and know that I haven't lost my touch.

Plus, that movie where she sleeps with that guy before his wedding and causes all sorts of trouble was simply delightful!
