you didn't like the downward spiral...?

the fragile had some great songs, but it didn't need to be a double album... there were some songs that slowed the whole thing down.

but with teeth is less brooding than downward spirale and more focused than fragile... you'll probably walk away from it unphased, but find the songs stuck in your head and go back and listen to it...

I didn't say that I didn't like "The Downward Spiral". I merely indicated that it was nowhere near as good as "Pretty Hate Machine".

At some point, I've got "Alien" by Strapping Young Lad winging its way towards me (damned slow Paypal payments). I'm also going to go hell-for-leather to get the new System of a Down/Raging Speedhorn albums the moment their heads pop up.

Regardless of whether or not he's "strapping", Devin Townsend is a genius, and he also happens to be hilarious.

Well, talk about your typos, I meant "I've paid for it, but it isn't here yet". Needless to say, I'm looking forward to it very, very much...

i still find that odd...

i think TDS has more flow to it... (well the exact same flow as david bowie's 'low' as trent himself admited), where as... actually i haven't listened to PHM in a while...

someone borrowed it for like 5 years and all i got back was the CD itself without the cover and it was scratched to shit...

i miss it...

did you ever get the original single for 'head like a whole' it's longer than the album...
ironically i bought it the same day as a bought 'spanish goat dancer' a 23+ track single by a NZ band called 'head like a whole'

i spent like $10 on 2 CD singles and had over 2 hours of music!!!

awsome day that!!!

Yeah, I have everything NIN has released in North America aside from "With Teeth", and some really rare singles and EPs. I'm just a wee bit of a fan.
