QUOTE (Heccubus @ Apr 3 2005, 08:54 PM)
I was inferring that Beck's latest album is very so-so.  At times it's quite good, but there are some songs on it that just don't cut it for me.  Likewise, the latest Mars Volta album is bad.  Very bad.  I'd reccommend getting their last LP, "De-Loused In The Comatorium".

Alas, aye... I definately would rather have gotten a copy of De-Loused. But Mute only set me back 8$, and I wouldn't go as far as to say it's very bad, just not that good...
This space for rent. Inquire within.

I'm approaching the new Nine Inch Nails album with caution. History has proven that Reznor has been totally incapable of topping "Pretty Hate Machine", with everything after it getting progressively worse. So if "The Fragile" was bad (which it was), then the pattern would prove that "With Teeth" is not worth my time. Hopefully, however, this will be proven wrong, since I do so want a good Nine Inch Nails record, and Dave Grohl is amazing.
