I'm far from being rich (in fact, I'm well below the poverty line right now), but I needed to get out and enjoy myself. I've been cooped up in my apartment for a while now and needed to escape for the afternoon. So record shopping sprung to mind, as it always cheers me up.

it cheers me up as well, but getting evicted for buying CDs instead of paying rent, upsets me...

CDs are more expensive here too...

QUOTE (Heccubus @ Feb 10 2005, 09:10 PM)
They're pretty good, but neither holds a candle to "The Marshall Mathers LP".

I have to say I think Encore is better than The Eminem Show, I think its abit more consistantly good. Eminem Show has alot of good ones but it also has quite a few crap ones. But I thought Marshall Mathers LP was abit extreme.

I just think the production on MM LP is as solid as anything Dre has ever produced.
Awesome av, by the way.
Also, I couple of cheap singles today:
Antony And The Johnsons - "The Lake"
Liars - "We Fenced Other Gardens With The Bones Of Our Own"

Why should I worry about how much you paid for "Get The Knack"? It's a damned good album!

The last CD I got was Siamese Dream for Christmas, before that was American Idiot, and over the summer was Superunknown. I can't afford CDs, and with the beautiful file sharing network we have, I don't have to! Although I did burn all of my CDs to mp3s so I could listen to every song I own at random. I don't own a turn table so I don't have vinyl records. But my 'rents have some kickass old stuff. And some crap.

And yes, John Lennon will Pwn the entire world from beyond the grave along with George Harrison. May their souls rest in peace, but they must kick some ass in the afterlife now that they are back together.
This space for rent. Inquire within.

Just a quick one, the only CD I've thus far got for my birthday is "3" by Soulfly. However, I've got £20 to blow on CDs sometime this holiday, so more on this story later...
